The day had started out just fine, she had woken up, ate breakfast and went on her way to work, for once taking the subway instead of having a family member taking her, probably too because she was planning on sleeping there and then going straight on with work. At the subway was where things had gone haywire and before she knew it, she had been surrounded by a few blood-hungry demons. Luckily since she managed to use her telekinesis, she felt the least bit stronger. No, her power of moving objects wouldn't really get her anywhere as it was still limited. You after all, had to be really powerful to use a power like this and spell-casting wasn't her forte either.
So, here she was, standing in a deserted part of the subway, with a few demons - at least she assumed they were demons, closing in on her. "Come and get me!" She yelled, as she looked them straight in the eye and wielded her athame with ease. When one of them lunged out, she easily avoided him, only to feel a surge of pain go through her body. Soon, crimson drops hit the pavements and her knees buckled, dragging her back to the ground as her vision began to tunnel. The only warmth she felt was the oozing liquid covering her hands from where they were pressed at her side. "Why don't just finish me off?" She grunted, as she forced her body up. They just cackled in a maniac laughter and as she found her footing, they seemed to retreat back into the darkness, seemingly already writing her out of the whole 'story', that was called nowaday life.
Sienna however decided to not take the time to debate their motives and broke out into a run, as her vision was still tunnelled and slightly blurred now too. The hospital was nearby.. If she had better ears, she could almost hear the sounds. If she could get there.. Once out on the streets and nearing on the hospital, her footing stumbled and she had to stop walking altogether, heaving a couple of heavy sighs and slowly making her way inside of the hospital and to her floor. There she collapsed.

"Clocking out for once? That is a surprise." came the playful voice of one of the many nurses on the job. It wasn't wrong for them to be surprised, the amount of hours Logan clocked here were astronomical some weeks. It felt almost alien to be in regular clothing right now, but for once the scrubs were not a part of his skin as they had been all week. Yawning as he gathered his bag, Logan checked his watch to make sure he had time to even make it to lunch. Flying out of the locker room, he was almost late to meet his parents, when he almost stumbled over someone laying on the floor.
The nurses must have noticed her too because they all came rushing over, the normal frenzy that surrounded emergency patients. They all looked to him however for "orders" as Logan jumped into emergency mode once more, things never seemed to calm down in his life. "Get a stretcher and be careful with moving her, we don't know the extent of the injuries." he said as he watched one of the nurses rush off. Looking the woman over, it was only then that he recognized that it was Sienna, and his hurt sunk. She was one of the kindest women he had ever met here in the hospital, for something like this to have happened to her seemed unfair.
"Sienna, Sienna? Listen to me, I need you to open your eyes, try and stay with us okay?" he asked through what must have been a haze for her. She was losing blood at an alarming rate, though he quickly grabbed something to try and stem the flow of blood. The pressure would most likely hurt Sienna, but there was nothing he could do about it. "We need to get her to surgery, figure out the extent of the damage. Can you call ahead and let them know we're coming?" he asked another nurse who nodded and scurried off. Logan took this chance to wheel the stretcher to the elevator himself, closing the door.
"Just hang on a bit Sienna, it's going to be alright." he said, his hand hovering just over the wound on her back. The next question was, should he heal it fully or partially? They would be expecting someone in surgery, there would be massive warning signs if she showed up without a wound. Making up his mind, his hands took on their familiar glow as he tried to at least stop some of the bleeding, fixing a bit of the internal tissue tearing. His legs almost buckled out from underneath him from the strain, the wound was pretty bad, but he braced himself with the stretcher.

Sienna knew someone would at least see her, take care of the wounds for her. Someone she know, hopefully. The hospital was so big that it was impossible to know every single one of them. She heard someone order a stretcher, but in her faraway state, it seemed impossible to make out who it was. However, when her name was called, her eyes slowly fluttered open. "Logan?" She asked, sounding weak, as she looked at him, thrpugh a haze of eyesight, that made it near impossible to see very much. She slightly cringed at what he pushed to the wound and closed her eyes for a moment, before opening them up again.
She managed a nod and closed her eyes again, feeling it be impossible to keep them open. When she felt a warm sensation go through her, she realized he was healing her, not very much, but still enough to let the bleeding die down a bit. She then wondered if she still had her knife in her hand or not, or if it had fell out of her hand while coming here.. Running to familiarity. When she felt someone lean on the stretcher, she could only assume it was Logan. "Take it easy," She managed softly. "You don't have to heal me.. I'll be fine."

"Yeah, it's me." he said as she seemed to come to, though now he was at risk of passing out himself. He used alot of his stamina to bring her back to stable levels, that was the biggest downside to his ability. Smiling at her, he went about checking the wound in a drone like fashion, the response basically programmed into him via muscle memory now. Nothing seemed too pressing, she would make a recovery with his help, but it would still take her a bit of time to get over the pain and soreness. Watching her close her eyes again, he placed a hand on the side of her face without thinking about it, "No, hey. Keep your eyes open. You've still lost alot of blood, you can't go to sleep." he said as the doors slid open.
It seemed that some of her fight had at least come back however, she was speaking to him. Sighing with relief, he stood up straight, as much as he could without using the wall to stablize himself. "I do have to heal you, it's who I am. I'm not just going to leave it to chance." he said with a smirk, though to be honest there was still so many thoughts in his head as he watched her lay there. How had she gotten into this mess? Who would stab her? Was she mugged maybe, or something far worse?
"Sienna what happened to you? Unless you would rather not talk about it with me." he added. She would have to report whatever it was, that was for darn certain. Unless this was one of the many things that couldn't be explained, he saw situations like this almost daily. People with injuries who didn't know how they got them or who gave them to them.. or rather what. Wheeling the stretcher out of the elevator, a team of surgeons would descend upon them, ready to treat the stab victim.
"We'll talk when you get out and they put you in a room, okay?" he said as he watched them wheel her off.

Relief flooded her as Sienna heard it was indeed Logan that was with her. However the way he looked, he could be fainting too and she didn't want that. She didn't want him to get hurt or something like that because of her. When he placed a hand on her cheek, her eyes opened again and unconsciously, she leaned into his hand a little bit. "I know." She said softly, even thoguh her body said it was better to fall asleep and let the pain just.. fade out too. She saw people come and go with all kinds of wounds that she stopped wondering what it would be like if she was on the receiving end of a bullet or a knife or a car. Otherwise it would be impossible to keep sane for her.
When he said, he needed to heal her, she smiled slightly. "I know." She said, as she looked at him, she really was grateful, he did so, she just couldn't help feeling worried about him. What she had seen, with Marina, healing wasn't something you did just like that. It asked for a lot of energy, it seemed and even though it hurt like hell, she didn't really feel as if she was dying, or she was just in denial. She couldn't die, though, she still had her sister to take care of. And she had her uncle Robert and Merry and Tara and Tana.. She closed her eyes again for a brief second, before opening them again. She couldn't panic as well.
"I do want to tell you, but I can't explain.." Sienna sighed and made a face because of the pain gonig through her, with such as simple as sighing. "Just.. write it off as mugging, might be easier." She said, as she looked at him, feeling that she wanted to tell him what she was, what had happened, that they had been demons or whatever and that they had stabbed her. "Then I need to explain why I still have my belongings.." She said with a weak laugh. She nodded as she was wheeled out. "We will."
OCC: Skip to after the surgery?

It was going to be one of those then, a situation with no real explaination. He figured she wanted to tell him, but didn't really know what to say. Logan couldn't really blame her, even he had seen some things in his time here. But for her to seem so unwilling to recieve help, it must have been something quite out of the ordinary. Logan gave her a long stare, as if he was trying to figure her out, but before he could really expand on the subject he was being forced to wait elsewhere for her. Deciding to find something to drink, Logan went and got himself a coffee as he waited to find out how it went.
After a few hours, Sienna was wheeled out of the O.R. into a recovery room, though she was mostly just going to be stiff and sore now. Taking a seat next to her bed, he leaned back in his chair and watched her as he waited for her to come back to reality, being put under was never very fun. While waiting, even he had fallen asleep in his chair, prior to all of this he worked a ten hour shift. He never went home, basically living out of his locker and duffel bag here. Another day in the life, he figured, he was more comfortable here than he was in his own room.
Stirring a bit later, he opened his eyes, blinking trying to figure out where he was. The bright lights of the hospital reflecting off the white tile was a bit blinding at first, but slowly he began to realize where he was. Glancing over at the bed, he wondered why he was in the chair when he realized Sienna was in it. Looking at his watch he checked for the time, it was a few hours ago that he had fallen asleep here in this chair. It was early evening now he figured by the colour of the sky outside. Leaning back in his chair, even if he felt it was a bit creepy, he just watched her, waiting for her to wake up.
He never had a chance to just take in the woman before him, working here they were usually always on the move. She was definitely beautiful, he hadn't really noticed in the chaos. Was this really an appropriate line of thought however after all that just happened? Who knew what the rules were when it came to taking an interest in the people you saved.

Slowly but surely, Sienna started to stir and opened her eyes a little, only to close them because of the mere effort that alone cost her. And the less effort she had to take, the better it seemed. She however slowly opened her eyes again, someheow realizing she had to wake up. Where was she? What happened to her? When she saw the monitor next to her, she realized she was in the hospital and thus had her answer. She'd been stabbed and must have just gotten out of surgery.
Slowly she took in the room and turned her head a little, before she saw Logan. "Hey." She greeted softly, surprised he was still here, but happy to see him too. "Why haven't you gone home?" She heard herself how hoarse her voice sounded and thus, stopped talking again, looking at him, as questions started to form in her mind and made her want to not feel the way she felt now; like crap. She closed her eyes for a moment and opened them up again, now looking at the ceiling. "How long have you been here anyway? How long have I been out?" She asked softly.

Robert came into the hospital with that quiet but intense air that he had. He had gently quiried the nurses on duty as to the status of his neice. His family had been taking shifts on waiting for permission to visit but he wasn't going to let Sienna wake up alone and scared. Carrying a big buquet of spring flowers with a giant get well bear from the family he peaked in the room. "Sienna, honey? How are you feeling?" he asked as he set the gift down and looked at Logan.
Seeing the stubble on the man's face and his rumpled appearence he looked at him sympathetically, "Thank you so much for looking after my niece Doctor..." he looked at the name tag, "Doctor Holem. You're my god daughter Marina's doctor. It seems I have quite a lot to thank you for, Sir." he said with a warm grin as he offered him a firm handshake before looking at Sienna, "I'm so glad you're alright, Sienna were were all worried sick about you. Merry's out in the waiting room. We've been taking shifts since we got the call from the hospital. You just rest up, honey and if you need anything you let us know, okay?"

A smile immediately appeared on Sienna's face as she saw Robert come into the room. "Hey uncle." She greeted him with a smile. "I'm.. okay, I guess. Been better." She smiled at seeing the get-well bear and looked at Logan again, wishing he'd stay. She also listened to what Robert said to Logan and smiled again, faintly. It was always good to know people looked out for each other.
"I know, I wasn't planning on getting stabbed, you know? They were just so fast.. Surrounding me like a bunch of hungry dogs. I didn't even see the knife coming." She said, with a sigh, avoiding the word 'demon' at all costs. Robert would get it, right? She nodded at him and smiled. "I will, though honestly, this is one way of sleeping at the hospital, which was my original plan." She joked.

Logan jumped a bit when he realized she was actually awake, he had spaced off while he looked over her. Giving her his warmest smile, he simply repeated the "Hey" back to her as he picked up his cup, only to find his coffee had gone cold a long time ago. Part of him wondered how it would be recieved, the fact that he sat here this whole time she was in recovery. They weren't dating or anything, even if the idea was creeping into his head, but he felt compelled to be by her bed side. He could have easily left that to her family and went to go see his, but instead he stayed.
"I couldn't go home until I was sure everything was alright. Don't look too surprised that I care about the people I work with, especially you." he said, standing up and going out to the hall. Removing her charts for himself, he gave them a quick look over before putting them back. "..from what I can tell you're going to be fine, just incredibly sore." he said with a relieved smile. Most people never saw the doctor in his normal clothes, but Logan looked pretty handsome even in his jeans, T-shirt, and hoody that had his name tag pinned to it. He put it on during the commotion with Sienna without realizing it.
Checking his watch again, Logan looked back over at her. "A good four hours you've been out. Feeling any better mentally at least after that power nap?" he asked, laughing as he saw a man with flowers descend upon her through the door way. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he just watched the exchange between them until he shook Roberts hand. "No problem, I wasn't about to leave this one by herself." he said with a playful tone and smile. "She's going to be alright, just sore and very stiff for awhile." he added. "Also, I'm not on the clock right now technically, so you can just call me Logan." he said looking back to Sienna.
"I still need to know what to tell the police though. They're going to want to talk to you, no doubt someone called them." he said, sighing. It was always such a hassle.

Robert smiled and looked back at Sienna, "Well, you fought them off so it still could be a mugging or attributed to a new gang. I wouldn't equate it with any of the current gangs but if you say it was a group of unidentified thugs that jumped you its a safe bet that someone will make the connection."
He turned and looked at Logan and then at Sienna, "Nice to meet you, Logan. Sienna was supposed to invite you for dinner but she got side tracked so I'm extending the invitation." he grinned at the pair and shoved his hands in his pockets. "Though with her getting stabbed it may be a bit. But you're welcome to visit any time you like. We just want to make sure she is okay before we go shoving dinner down her throat or anything."

Sienna actually was happy to see him, as it meant to her that he cared and the smile he showed her, unconsciously made her heartbeat go a little faster. She didn't really know what he'd think of her if she would ever just tell her what she felt for him, but him staying like this, really did make her wonder if it was possible he might like her back. A warm smile appeared on her face at his words. "Well, don't be too surprised, you just look tired. Besides, we all know you're almost living at this place." She said, before she sighed, relieved at his words that she'd be fine. Okay, truth be told, he did look amazing in the clothes he wore, but he rarely didn't look amazing.
"Four hours? Wow, that's longer than I usually sleep." She joked, before looking at Robert, hoping he hadn't remembered the name she had said, of the guy she liked. She didn't want things to get uncomfortable. However, when he did start, she just smild. "It's actually a good idea, might get you out of the hospital for once. And that sounds nice, does that count on sending Lelia over, as well? She won't let me hear the last of it, if she was here." She looked at Ligan. "Lelia's my twin-sister, big difference is the hair-color; she has blond hair and I doubt she'd set foot in a hospital.. Ever." then shook her head. "I still have my belongings.. So, I wouldn't call it a mugging.. Or a sucessful at the least."
"Well, then I have to think quick on a good story." Sienna said, as she bit her lip and looked at both. "That upcoming gang thing sounds pretty awesome at the moment."

Logan listened as Robert seemed pretty quick to come up with some sort of explaination. It raised a warning flag with him, wondering why there was even a need for it. Why wasn't the truth of what happened enough for the situation at present? There was more to Sienna's life than just the pretty smiles and her job at the hospital. Logan was beginning to wonder what exactly that might be, whether or not he had done something he shouldn't have by restoring her body. Without his help she probably would have bled out before she was even put under. Shifting uncomfortably on the spot, he tried not to second guess his decisions, he had a knack for usually being right.
"I'm not going to ask the questions in my head right now. I guess it wouldn't really be trusting you if I asked you to explain, Sienna, and I feel like I can do that." he said simply, watching them finish up their story for the report. Absent mindedly he removed the tag from his shirt, before nodding slowly at Robert. It seemed like an inappropriate moment, but he figured he might get a bit more information if he actually went to dinner. "Alright, I accept. When is this dinner?" he asked as he raised a brow at Sienna. "Twin sister? You'll have to tell me more about her sometime. I don't think we've ever had the chance to talk about the behind the scenes stuff." he said with a smile.
Offering a slow shrug of his shoulders, Logan leaned out into the hall to take a look. It seemed fairly quiet out there so he figured that perhaps it would stay that way for awhile. "I'm sure they won't be around for awhile yet, if at all today. You're probably fine to just relax for now." he said, reassuring her as she seemed to be wracking her brain for something to tell them. "Maybe you can fill me in on what really happened today though at some point? A secret for a secret maybe?" he offered, there was a playful edge to it to add zero pressure.

Sienna had no idea how Logan would take it that she and Robert were already thinking of some way to explain what had happened and that it was kind of unfair to think of the fact that basically, Logan was the only one that didn't quite know what it was that attacked her. Or who for that matter. It somehow didn't really seem fair, because he had healed her. He'd saved her life and now here she was, lying about what happened. She did want to tell him what really happen, she just didn't know how to start. It wasn't really easy to say; "Oh, yeah, I'm a witch and I was stabbed by a demon.".. He'd just think she was crazy.. Highly possibly.
"I said I would. I said I would explain what happened.. What really happened." Sienna said, as she looked at Logan. When he said, he accepted on dinner, she smiled. "As soon as I'm out of the hospital, I'd say." She said, before she nodded and laughed a little, which kind of hurt. "Yeah, she's just 'back on the radar'. as I'd like to call it. But I'll tell you about her, too."
When he went to look into the hallway, she bit her lip and closed her eyes for a moment, before opening them again and looking at him. "That's good. Cops hardly ever show up at appropiate times anyhow." She said as she bit her lip. "You know when I said, I'd keep your secret, right? And how that went fairly easy, as I didn't freak out? I have a secret like that, too.. And I don't really know how else to say it.." She stopped talking, as she felt even more uncomfortable, as she didn't want to stall it any further, but she did want to tell him the truth. "Look, truth is, I'm a witch."

Robert nodded softly, "The dinner will be when she is up for it." he said softly as he looked between the two of them, "I think this is my exit, Kitten." he said softly as he leaned over and kissed Sienna's cheek, "Take it easy. I'll let you two talk and see how Marina is doing. She's supposed to be going in for surgery soon. Merry is right outside if you need anything, lovey."
He nodded to Logan, "Thank you for your help, Logan. I look forward to seeing you soon." with that he slipped out to give Sienna some privacy and let her tell Logan what she needed to. He was close in case she needed him and would be able to hear if it went badly. He didn't want the young man to feel pressured because he was there.
