"Yes, I heard you first time!" Sienna called out, annoyed as she was, as she looked at another nurse, that was all excited because she got to prep on an operation on which she was positive she only got because she played nice with the doctor. And it annoyed the shit out of her, but of course, she kept smiling and kept playing nice, because she didn't want a fight either.
When the nurse; Tammie, as everyone called her, got called off, she brushed a hair out her face and walked to the counter, where she smiled and greeted the one nehind the desk; Colin. "Colin, hi. Do you have a new status for me?" She asked cheerfully, knowing he 'liked' her, even thoguh she saw him as nothing more than a friend. "Sure, Sienna. Hey, do you want to go out for a drink afterward?" With a sigh, Sienna shook her head. "I'm sorry, i promised my niece I'd be home immediately after my shift." He nodded and tried to not look down on which she immediately felt bad, as it was a lie.. Kind of. He was just so.. goofy. When he gave her the status, she quickly glanced it over and looked up when he talked about how bad the weather was. "It is." She agreed.
She ultimately had to brush Colin off and go to work, as she really didn't have time to be spending this much time on a conversation, after a 6 hour shift; she always liked working long, until her body crashed down, which was something her family knew. It had became a habit after she kind of gave up on looking for her sister. Well, not fully anyway. But enough to want to start up a life and a job and not hunt her down across all of the US.
So, about half an hour later, she began to notice she was making mistakes, so she decided on a break and a good cup of coffee. "Whoever asks me for a check-up is going to find himself in the ER." She then mumbled as she slumped down on a chair and closed her eyes. Just a couple of minutes, she thought. And she was back to work.

Robert rolled out of bed, glad his rooms were in the basement and the place was sound proof. Anne was definately....intense. Yes that was the right word. He got up, the bedroom was trashed. Anne had knocked the dresser over and the mirror had been ripped from the wall.
Padding into his bathroom naked he sighed. He was lucky there were no bite marks still showing from his wild night. He groaned as he turned on the light and saw the bathroom. Oh right they had had sex in there too. The towel rack was off the wall and the towels were soaking wet on the floor. Don't ask with what. He tossed them into the hamper and pulled out some fresh ones putting it on the stand that had survived before he showered.
The water beat down on him and he hissed. Okay well his back looked like he'd slept with a panther. No need to worry a t-shirt covered that. Black was always a good choice. Time to scrub away the night and set the rooms to rights. He had his phone on him. Stepping out of the shower he heard his alarm go off. Damn he needed to pick up Sienna. Sighing he tossed on his clothes. Black leather shoes, jeans and a black shirt. He combed his hair, shaved and added a dash of cologne before brushing his teeth.
He was good to go. Grabbing his keys he headed out the door. It was dark and he grabbed his black leather jacket on the way out after locking his rooms down.

After Sienna finished her coffee, she got up, went to the dressing room and went back to changing into her clothes, as she knew Robert would pick her off from the hospital, as he had kind of promised. She was happy, because at this point, she would just fall asleep in her car, holding her steering wheel and driving off the road or something, which with her past, was a thought she did not want to linger on too long.
So, soon she got dressed and walked back to the halls, where she took the elevator down, to the ground floor, where she got a seat, nearest to the entrance Robert would probably be, as it was also where the parking lot was at. It was a good thing, she knew she could trust him and rely on him, because taking a cab would so ruin her day, at this point. And not just because she had to pay for it, she wasn't broke after all.
Sienna eventually glanced down at her cell-phone, soon getting impatient and decided to send a text; Hey, Robert, you haven't forgotten lil me, have you? ;-) After she sent it, she smiled and put her phone back in her pocket.

Robert saw the text pop up as he drove the car. Having a hands free unit in the vehicle. "Call Sienna." he said to the on board automated system as he made his way to the hospital. "Calling Sienna." the car replied as it dialed the brunette.
"Of course I haven't forgotten you, Sienna. I'll be there in two shakes. You know how I crash after we complete a major record deal." he said with a wink as he drove into the parking lot, "I'm here now. Ringing off, kitten." he said as he thumbed the off switch and saw her there.
"Lovelace limosine service. Your carriage awaits your majesty." he said with a big grin. No matter how much money they had Robert had made sure to keep things normal for the twins given what had happened. He got out and opened the door for the sleepy nurse. "We've got some quiet music in the back, you just get some rest and we'll be home. Dinner is warming for you in the oven."he said as he closed the door and then slid into the drivers seat.

Sienna felt her phone buzzing, indicating she had a call, so she pried the phone out of her pocket and picked up. "Hey." She greeted, as she figured out who it was. She laughed as she heard what he said. "And you never wonder why I take double shifts when you do." She teased. When she heard what he said as he put down his phone, she laughed.
When he arrived, she jumped up and hugged him. "Day's been completely crazy." She said, as she let him go. "Crazily busy that is. So, I am very happy to see you." She slid onto the backseat and rubbed her temple. "You look tired too, you okay?" She asked, as she studied his face, in the rearview mirror. When she heard what he said about dinner, she felt her stomach grumble slightly. "I forgot I needed to eat, too." She joked, lightheartedly.

Robert laughed at the comment and rung off with her. When she hugged him he hugged her back and smiled. His back hurt like hell but he didn't let her know that. What guy wants to admit he has MINE etched into his back by some hot blonde chick? Okay, well some might, but he was trying to keep things pg-13 for the kids. "I'm sorry your day was so hectic. You can relax at home though. Good music, dinner and a good book sound like a good way to unwind."
"I'm fine. Just had this client come from the Netherlands and keep me up all night long. You know what a sucker I am for a sob story. I spent most of the night calming her down and getting her writers block to go away. She was really plastered. I hate temperamental starlets." he said with a rueful smirk. Hey it explained Anne nicely didn't it? "I've already eaten but you just relax and kick back." he said as he drove the familiar roads home.

Sienna smiled when he hugged her back and immediately relaxed. She loved her family and didn't really notice the little things anymore, so as to which she didn't notice him being hurt. "Sounds like a perfect way to unwind, even though I probably fall asleep with that book you are talking about." She said, smiling.
She nodded when she heard what he said about the client. "You don't often have clients from the Netherlands. But by the sound of it, you could use a good night of rest, too." She told him, as she closed her eyes for a moment. "That's okay. Tomorrow i don't have a double shift, but a single one. So, i'll be home by.. four, I think. I can call Merry too, if you're busy. I really still need a car of my own."

Robert chuckled as he kept his eyes on the road, "That's the point of the book. To put you to sleep." he turned carefully and waited behind a car for the light to turn green. "Yeah, she's on a completely different schedule than the rest of the world. I sometimes don't even think she sleeps." Inwardly he chuckled and thought of Anne. She defied most normal laws. It wouldn't surprise him if she could go days without sleeping.
"I've got a meeting that is going to run long. Tana is going to need to translate and then that is going to have to be translated back, its kinda crazy. We'll see if Merry can get you or if you can drop her off at the library and borrow the car for a bit. Maybe after work you both can go car shopping. There is plenty in the fund your parents left to get you a nice car and one for Leila when she's ready to come home." he said quietly as he moved forward.

"Hm, i am pretty sure the music will do it too, which is a good thing, I guess." Sienna chuckled and kept her eyes closed, as she listened to what he said to her. "Sounds familiar." She said, laughing a little at the comment of the woman he had over. She wasn't sure if she should believe that he had an actual customer over or not. But, she wasn't just talking about that woman. She was also talking about herself and even about Robert, as she didn't think any of them listened to any normal sleeping advices given.
She slowly opened her eyes again, at his next comment, as she felt her head tumble and her body almost wanting to sleep, even thoguh she never could sleep in a car, whatever car that was anyway. "Ah yes, I totally feel as if I'm avoiding Tana and Tara, which I am absolutely not. It's a good thing to hear them being okay." She said warmly. She bit her lip at his comment on Lelia. "Yes, whenever she decides to act normal again, I don't even know how long I've been running after that girl. It's been so long that I almost feel bad for not doing it anymore."

Nodding his head Robert tapped his fingers to the tune of the music, "We never sleep normally at the house. All of us are night owls. I find it amusing that we get out in the day at all." he admitted to her as he closed in on the house. The crunch of the gravel drive met his ears as he hit the garage door opener with his finger.
"Tara and Tana will show up when they have time. I'm sure they understand we all have jobs and lives." he said as he stopped the car and cut the engine. "Leila will show up eventually. You can't keep chasing after her. Her life is her own to live, Sienna. She has to work out her own problems before she can deal with others." He opened the door for her and smiled reassuringly as he opened the door to the house and held it open for her.

Sienna laughed. "That is so true." She agreed, on his comment on their sleeping behaviours. When they closed in on the house, she was actually happy. Happy to be home. "I know, she agreed, as she took a moment before exiting the vehicle. When he opened up the door to the house, she looked at him with a smile. Robert was always such a gentleman, besides that, he still had his own life and was always prepared to help them out too. All of them. Lelia too.
"I just feel somewhat.. guilty. guilty that what she's going through, I'm not actually there to help her. And she seems to not even want me there, so, what am I supposed to do? She's my twin-sister, and before everything, we were actually close.. I kind of miss that." She sighed and got into the house, where she went straight to the kitchen. "Did you forget to mention you're a five star cook?" She teased him, as she felt her stomach grumble even more at the smells.

His brow crinkled with worry as he looked at her, he hated it when people hurt like this and there was no real advice he could give to make the pain go away. "I understand the guilt but you can't put your life on hold forever for her. She is over 18 and has to take responsibility for herself. Either she'll clean up her act or she won't. All you can do is support her when she does well and distance herself when she gets self destructive. Its not fair of her to drag you down with her. You have the right to be happy however you need to be and if she can't drag herself out of her poor me bubble its not your fault." Robert loved his niece but he desperately wanted to give her a reality check. While he did have the greatest understanding of Leila's problems he didn't let his own destroy his family.
"Don't worry about, Leila. You focus on you." he said as he walked over and pulled her plate out and some utensils. "When you have large gaps of free time you learn how to cook. Being a single parent helps too." he admitted as he set things down and then reached for a glass to add to it. He looked in the fridge, "What do you want to drink? We have milk, juice, tea...soda." he looked back at her and waited for her to make a selection.

She had been standing out here for almost twenty minutes now, trying to figure out if she should chance going in. Having made up some schedule she hoped was true in her head, she assumed Sienna would be at work, Robert out doing whatever Vampires do, and she figured she could -just- catch Merry before she was off to the library. Working up the courage to even touch the door knob, Lelia opened the front door and stepped inside. She was immediately met with the smell of food, which as always made her stomach growl, the girl could always eat.
Figuring that it was probably Merry in the kitchen, Lelia made sure not to detour as she might run the risk of bumping into someone else. Still, everytime she turned a corner she saw a picture of this or that and was overcome with a wave of nostalgia. Had it really been that long since she had seen the inside of this place? It was almost as if she was waking from some sort of dream, one that quickly turned into a nightmare on many occasions. Out of instinct she reached into her pocket, feeling for a familiar friend, but came up with nothing. She left it at home, out of some dumb notion of respect for Merry.
Anxiety swept over her like a blanket now, causing her to pause for a moment and take a deep breath. "Hey Merry I.." she started, turning the corner. That was who she was expecting, but that wasn't who she got. Robert and Sienna, both of the people she had been hoping to avoid were in the same place. Suddenly everything seemed to be spinning inside her head, she felt like a deer stuck in on coming traffic. "Oh.. is.. uh.." she started, unsure what to even say now. Is Merry here? That would probably be one of the most inconsiderate things she could possibly say, seeing as how the one who had been looking for her was right there.
"Uhm.. hey." she said weakly, offering an awkward wave. She didn't even know what to say, it was just lucky for them she had walked in too late to catch any of the discussion about her. "Sort of just let myself.. should I have maybe called?" she asked, though she was pretty quiet when doing so. She felt like an alien right now, she had just crash landed on a strange, but not unfamiliar planet.

Sienna sighed at his obvious reaction and bit her lip. I’m not doing that, honest.” Well, actually she should say not anymore. But she was sure that wouldn’t sit well with him. ”And I know how old she is. There’s a reason we’re called twins.” She stated dryly, as she looked at him. She knew that what he told her was true and that she shouldn’t pay that much attention to Lelia. But, the girl was still her sister and what else was she supposed to do? She loved her family more than anything and she just couldn’t sit by and do nothing, could she?
”That’s exactly what I’m doing, worrying about her. I mean, I have to. I partially feel responsible for her. Well, I won’t welcome her with open arms, but I won’t send her away either. And focusing on me sounds.. selfish. I don’t know. I have a job that I like, I’m around people that I love and care about.. What more can I ask for?” When he told her when he learned to cook, she smiled. ”Then maybe I need to lessen my work shifts and learn it too.” She half-joked. She sat down and looked at him, as he asked her what she wanted to drink. Soda’s good.”
Sienna then looked at the door as it opened and was welcomed by the sight of her wayward sister. Now all she could do was stare at her. She slowly got up and walked to her. ”Hey.” She greeted softly, before pulling her in a hug. She couldn’t help it. To see her sister here and now was.. amazing. She had forgotten how much she had missed her sister. ”You don’t need to call.. This is your home too.” She said, as she slowly let go of her and looked at her. Or it should be her home, anyway.

Robert turned at the sound of Leila coming in because it was expected. He knew the minute she had stepped on the property. The conversation previous made him smirk slightly when Leila walked in the door, "Hey Leila. Cop a squat. Dinner is in the oven." He grabbed a soda and passed it to Sienna while he dished her twin another plate of food. "Have a seat." he said with a grin as he looked at her, "We've got the usual in the fridge. What would you like?" he asked as he pulled out another set of utensils and set them down in front of Leila before hugging her briefly, "Good to see you, kiddo. How's life treating you these days?"
Robert kept the topics light and didn't let it get too heavy. He passed Leila her drink and grabbed one for himself while he let her settle in. "And she's right. You don't need to call. Your room's the same place as always." He wasn't going to drive the girl off if he could help it. His face did relax though with her here. He was like a hen whose chick had come home after a long day.
