"Being dead is no excuse for being messy." she insisted as she looked at him and smiled even as she rolled her eyes. She watched him speed off and looked to Mike, "I swear I don't know how he lived without me sometimes." she muttered as she excused herself and went to Trent's bedroom to put the shirt in his hamper. Returning she met him in the front room and took the medical supplies from him, "Do you know how to self administer a shot, Mike? My hands tremble too much." she asked him as she regarded the assembled medical supplies. Gloves, swabs and alcohol as well as a band to make the vein stand out for the injection.
She looked back at Trent and smiled softly, "Thank you." she said gently. She regarded Mike as she rubbed the back of her neck. This was so weird. She didn't even like having to do this. Mike should not have had to go through this at all and there was no garentee it would work. She sighed as she felt her head throb in reaction, "What were you doing out in the woods anyway, Mike? You obviously should know better than to be out on a full moon."

Mike smirked when Marina complained about the mess, saying that being dead was no excuse. I'm not getting in the middle of this one, he thought to himself.
When Marina asked him if he was good at self-administering shots, he nodded and then took a syringe, cotton swab, alcohol. "Yeah, I can do it," he assured and then he took the cotton swab, put some alcohol on it and put it on the vein. Once it was secure he took the syringe that had the serum in it and then jammed the needle in, an expression of pain flitting across his face briefly. I hope this works. I so don't want to be a werewolf, he thought to himself. "Thanks," he said to the vampire. "Now to see if this stuff works. If it does, we're all good. If not...I'll figure something out," he told them.

Mari looked away as Mike injected himself and went over to Trenton, burying her head in his chest so she didn't have to watch the injection. She never knew why but seeing such things made her queasy and faint. She shivered quietly. There was a reason she would make a horrible vampire. "We can always see about locking you in the room I was in. I mean if I was going to turn tonight I would have." she said softly as she peeked over to see if he was done.
She smiled at Mike as she felt the fabric of Trent's shirt in her hands, absently feeling the fabric between her fingers as she looked back at him when he was done, "I suppose that its a good thing I'm immune." she said as she looked up at him.

At Marina's comment about the state of his room, Trenton rolled his eyes. "Bella, I live alone and I am seemingly a bachelor. There is no one living around here that I am wishing to impress," he reminded her. But it is rather cute that she feels comfortable enough to scold me, he thought to himself. And that was how he liked her: bold enough to cross the barriers the vampire community usually placed on human and vampire interaction.
He watched as the human injected himself, holding Marina clung to him, unable to watch. "Just focus on me, Bella. Listen to my voice," he murmured in her ear. If he could get her to focus on him, she hopefully would not be bothered by what was happening and would not feel as queasy.
He saw the human tie off the injection and then turned his focus back to Marina. "He's done, Love," he murmured. Then, his brows furrowed in confusion. He had never called Marina "Love" before. Where had it come from? It was not a bad moniker to give her, but he knew that she was feeling confused about some things and did not desire to add to that confusion. So I guess now you wait," he said to the other man.

She sniffed, "Well I come visiting so you should be trying to impress me." she stuck her tongue out at him playfully. A twinkle in her eye as she did so before she focused on Mike once more.
She peeked up at him and nodded, keeping her eyes locked on his as she picked up on the scent of his shirt and hugged him. Her skin was paler than normal but she was keeping it together enough not to faint outright. She exhaled softly and remembered to breathe, "Okay, Trent." she said softly.
She looked over at Mike with a flush to her cheeks as she still held onto Trent, "Sorry, Mike. The sight of needles or blood leaving the body it just makes me pass out. Don't know why. It just does." she shrugged and ducked her head down. The vampires would laugh at her if they knew. She was more concerned with staying upright than with what Trent called her at the moment.

As soon as the human was done with the injection, Marina left Trenton's embrace and she turned to Mike, apologizing for her behavior. "There is no need for you to apologize, Bella. You are who you are," Trenton reminded her. Then, "Now if there is no further need of my assistance, I shall be going." With that, he walked past them, stopping by the human. "Here's hoping you don't turn into a dog," he murmured and then continued on his way out the door.
