Trenton stared at the werewolf who stared at him, obviously unafraid. Marina rushed over to him, stating that there was no need to be protective and that the man was a detective. "Ah, so the police department is letting anybody join these days," he commented with a small smirk.
She went on to say that her body had gone through some changes and that her father had stated that she had finally come into her powers. "And how are you feeling about that?" he asked in a murmur. Then, he had to bite back a chuckle as she turned to both of them and chewed them out, rubbing his shoulder as she did so. He let his fangs flash one last time before, turning his features back to normal. He listened as she mentioned "If you are certain everything is all right Marina, I will stand down," he promised softly. He did not want to cause her any alarm.
Then, he smelled a new scent as someone came in and asked if he was a dog. "Not me, him," Trenton responded, pointing to the werewolf.

When Mari went on about that love had to have a long time to grow and be nourished, it kind of made him think of Shannelle pretty quickly, he just couldn't help it for a moment because it was that he was now giving her more space and time, even if it was kind of hard, with the risks mostly of letting her do it on her own with being a werewolf, but in a way it might be necessary for her to realize how hard it could be, even though he hoped she didn't have to, especially not the hard way. 'I know, it's just that something going on right now in my life kind of popped to mind.' He admitted softly and honestly with a small hand gesture that showed that it wasn't really necessary per say to go any further into it, at least not now, he was here for her now.
Daryl kept his mouth shut but his eyes pretty much locked on Trenton just in case as Mari came over to the two of them to try and calm them down, but especially Trenton, because if he hadn't gone into straight hostility mode, things might have been different. So he nodded when Mari said they had an agreement an that it was also very thoughtful of him and Detective Corbett to think of her. 'Yeah, as long as you remember that not everyone has forgotten you.' He then said with a smile before shrugging his shoulders thoughtfully then. 'But even though I'm sure he has his suspicions, I would like to ask you to not tell him exactly what I am.' He asked of her, thinking it would be helpful to at least ask it, he didn't want any unnecessary problems with Mike if he were to be fully sure of what Daryl was.
'Don't you dare talk about my job, I'm sure you're playing student too at the college, so you better not want to pick a fight with me.' Daryl said, doing his best to keep his tone neutral because of how Mari was still trying both of them to calm down and realize they were on the same page. When Trent showed his fangs for a last time, Daryl just kept his eyes straight at him with his hands clenched to fists for a moment, but when the vampire let his features turn back to normal, Daryl relaxed his hands as much as possible and sighed before nodding in agreement. 'I'll keep calm, as long as this dude keeps his smartass comments to himself.' Daryl said as he couldn't help but say that because it was how he felt at that moment.
Daryl was surprised the next moment when another scent had entered his nose, but it wasn't the one that he thought Mari's Dad would be, and once he saw the guy that it came from, he raised his eyebrows in a questioning way for what he was doing here before giving that same look to Mari, not wanting to state the question out loud just yet if he could prevent it, but he did really wonder what this guy was here for, even though he did get the sense that this guy wasn't "normal" either. When Trent called him a dog again Daryl clenched his teeth together and gave him another pissed and warning look. 'Better that than an evolved overgrown bloodsucking leech.' Daryl said through his teeth before turning his head to the new guy again. 'But you're something else, it's not really a good vibe for some reason... But better than this guy.' he said about Trenton while looking thoughtfully at the guy, trying to figure out if it might also be better if he left already, not that he would let himself be sent away by these guys if that was the case, but if this guy was here for Mari to talk about something too, he didn't want to disrupt that either.

Sensing Wes enter her rooms, Mari’s eyes grew wide but she managed to keep herself together somewhat. That was a person she never expected on the property and from the attitude he was throwing about he’d be lucky if he didn’t die before he hit her rooms.
“I totally get you’ve got a lady on your mind but I’m not one to pry and I won’t tell Detective Corbett what you are. I try not to out people if I can help it. It’s just hard when they all show up at once.” She said with amusement.
“Trenton, you promised to behave.” She said as she glanced at him for his snide comment, “Honestly can we just keep this civil please? I mean there is enough I need to discuss without having to add species animosity into the mix.” She massaged her temples.
“I mean hell one of my friends got bit last night and the same wolf took a swipe at me when I tried to give him room to get away and you don’t see me being an asshole.” She put a hand on her belly and looked over at Darryl, “I don’t know what female werewolf is in your pack, Darryl but she bit my friend Zach and he’s probably gonna need to be looked after.” She sighed softly and began to shake gently, “And you stop picking on him, Trent. He was human and now he’s gonna have problems.” She said this gently but there was a definite sign of displeasure. She hated people who were out of control and it was obvious to the predators in the room she was scared when she thought about what happened, “My dad on a horny bender has more self-control than that werewolf showed last night.”
When Trenton asked her how she felt about the change she bit her lip and ducked her head, “It scares me. I mean I’m supposed to be someone who spends her existence making other folks happy and I can’t even keep my dad from getting all weird on me? Who am I to be pairing folks up? I damn near died last night taking on some pissed off she bitch who didn’t like it when I got all Catholic on her and pulled out my crucifix. If my parents hadn’t raised big dogs almost all my life I’d have been fucked but I was able to slam her ass to the ground and dominate her into backing the fuck off me.” She forced the fear down and put a strangle hold on it. If her agitation got too great her father would storm in.
She exhaled and closed her eyes, she was rattled, “I’m sorry, Darryl she’s probably a friend of yours but it really galls the shit out of me that werewolves can be pure assholes to folks 3 days out of the month and then pretend like they didn’t do anything wrong the rest of it. I’m not likely to ever see this chick again and if I hadn’t changed into a cupid I’d have had to have surgery. I’m just a little freaked out when I think about it. And no I didn’t tell my dad; Although, he probably already knows. ”
“Boys please enough with the finger pointing. We both know you have your species pride shirts and you’re both fine specimens of your respective races but can we please work together on this one point and not break into junior high name calling. I really do not want to have to choose between team Edward and team Jacob.” She admitted with a smirk as she winked at Trent and Darryl respectively.
“I am absolutely certain everything WILL be alright. I’ll be fine. Just a bit freaked out, Trent. I’m sure Darryl will make sure his friend is locked up. Tonight for her own safety if no one elses.” She rubbed her face and looked at Wes, “Just another day in paradise Wes, no need to go anywhere. Just making sure the detective knows what is going on In his jurisdiction before he has me work for him. I could use a little bit of normalcy in my life. Come on, gentleman lets go to lunch. I need to get some Gatorade in me before I fall over. I just wish my life was somewhat normal. Supernatural politics gives me a headache. As for what Wes is…star football player of the college football team and a friend of my friend Claire.” She admitted as she looked to the dark haired young man, “Now, what shall it be today? I’m sure the cook could whip up anything in a few moments. She admitted with a soft smile.

Daryl for a short moment showed some uncomfortable signs with his body and the smile on his face when it came to Mari saying that she totally got that he had a lady on his mind but that she wasn't one to pry, because on one hand a big part of him was happy about that, yet another small part deep inside of him was curious of course what a Cupid's input might be, but maybe he would give into that feeling another time, at least not now and yet. He then gave her a thankful nod when she said she wouldn't tell Mike and then laughed slightly and softly because of her remark and the amusement in it for a moment.
Daryl didn't speak up when Mari reminded Trenton that he had promised to behave, and then if they could keep this civil because she had enough to talk about with this species animosity. He shrugged himself but kept quiet because the only reason he went into it in the first place was because Trenton started against him, and he had made his promise to Mari too to behave, so he would do that as best he could, which would probably work as long as Trenton did the same, but the same was for the new guy that had entered the room.
Daryl had looked at Wes for a moment, still trying to figure out obviously what the vibe was that this guy was giving of in a way, but his eyes went wide with somewhat shocked surprise when he heard what Mari began to tell about a friend of her getting bit last night and then the word wolf and that it had taken a swipe at her, so his eyes instantly went to Mari too. 'What? And you're telling me this now?' He asked her clearly not so happy that this came to light so late but then after that he still bit his lip, showing that a part of him understood now too why she was so suspicious of him at first. He was just about to open his mouth again when Mari turned to him after he saw her putting her hand on her belly and she started about that she didn't know what female werewolf was in his pack, well... Officially none anymore, it wasn't like Shannelle had actually officially become part of it, but it was the only one that made sense... 'Damn it!' He growled to himself as he turned around for a moment and looked at a random spot in the room.
When Mari's comment came about the self-control of her father in comparison to Shannelle, Daryl shook his head and closed his eyes for a moment before turning back and looking at Mari with a sigh. 'It's not easy to get actual self-control over yourself in that form Mari, your father is still himself, when we change and it's strong enough, we become something entirely different, buried deep inside of from when we were turned..' He tried to explain, automatically trying to defend Shannelle a bit before sighing again and shaking his head again too because this totally wasn't what he had been expecting and as his eyes went to the clock, he knew that he hadn't much time either in the grand scheme of things for Shannelle, that Zach, or even himself and the rest of his pack if he wanted to take care of this, let alone Mari maybe, he wasn't sure if a Cupid was immune or not.
At first as Daryl's eyes were focused on a random spot in the room again, the first part of Mari's conversation with Trenton about her change sounded hollow in his ears, trying to figure out the best course of action to help everyone in this case, everyone that he was responsible for now one by one. Still when Mari continued on about the "she bitch" of last night which obviously meant Shannelle, Daryl closed his eyes again and lowered his head for a moment, avoiding any look going his way, not wanting to be too obvious how he felt about this, or after what he told Mari about a lady in his life, to let her know too obviously that it had been about Shannelle. Eventually Daryl turned around when Mari's words were pointed at him again and looked at her with a serious look on her face because of what she explained. 'It's not that simple as that too, especially new ones have difficulty even remembering what the Hell happened, like I said especially for them being new, every transformation is like Hell, like experiencing your own Alien role with it trying to eat and claw it's way out, but then just possessing you in a way...' He tried to explain, at least to Mari honestly, as he bit his lip and was pretty sure that Shannelle wouldn't even know what exactly she did, only probably that she did SOMETHING.
'Your dad needs to stay the Hell out of this!' Daryl said clearly then as he looked at Mari with a determined look. 'This is my responsibility, and I'm sure that if that guy shoves his face and nose into this business, he'll only screw things up and make it worse.' Daryl said, hoping that Mari would understand that and if need be, giving him a heads-up if the guy wanted to put his nose into it anyway. Daryl's eyes narrowed again but then sighed in surrender because of Mari's words and comparison to freaking team Edward and team Jacob as he kept his eyes on Trent again for a moment and then nodded. 'Please don't make that comparison again, I mean vampires sparkling in the sun? Werewolves having it so fun and easy they can change when the Hell they want?' Daryl shook his head, clearly showing he still regretted it personally that he had ever watched and read those whole Twilight stuff. 'But she's right...' He then said carefully as he looked at Trent again.
'I will.' Daryl said simply about making sure his friend was locked up tonight for her own protection too, but then focused on Mari with a serious look again. 'But that also brings me to you, you've been scratched, and my knowledge of Cupid's is too low to know if you're immune because of it or not, so until we know that for sure, you're my responsibility too... I'm sorry.' He said, really meaning it before sighing and giving Trent a serious but asking for help look now. 'Please, make sure you isolate her, we'll have to lock her up tonight too for her own safety too, I can bring some supplies over for it too.' He said, hoping that if it was about Mari, and he showed they were on the same side, Trenton would realize that and agree.
Daryl kept standing where he was, thinking at the same time, while Mari continued on about wanting to go get some lunch too, but Daryl honestly wasn't really feeling like that right now, especially with the limited time of the day he had after all, Shannelle he could probably find, he could even guess where she was so he was going to her first, but then finding that Zach guy... Well it wouldn't be too hard probably, but it would still be harder at first. 'I'm sorry Mari, but if you could excuse me if there's nothing else you need for now?' He asked her with an apologetic look in his eyes and a hopeful look paired with it that showed he hoped she wouldn't be mad and that she would understand and that he could take care of this, and at the same time hoping Trent would take care of things here, he wasn't sure about that Wes guy, being a star football player and all that shallow stuff in Daryl's mind, but he couldn't take care of every single thing at the same time of course either.

There was so much going on, alot of it went over his head, but that didn't stop Wes from chiming in. Rolling his eyes a bit, in response to the comment about the female wolf Marina made, he added on. "Or you could, you know, put her down. Like you do to all rabid dogs." he said, shrugging his shoulders. He was a jerk, it was no surprise that he would say something so cold without actually even knowing the person they were talking about. However it seemed that this debate was quickly boiling to a close, it was a free for all of fighting, one that seemed to slow down as Marina exclaimed that she was done with the fighting.
Shaking his head at all that was going on, he decided to just but out now, rather than deal with it all. Cross his arms over his chest he listened as they went back and forth about Vampires, Werewolves, and everything inbetween. Something about a scratch, needing to put her under constant surveillance. Raising a brow at her, he couldn't help but think that she had to be the most unlucky person in the world.
It was just as he feared though, she extended the lunch invitation to all of them, when he barely wanted to just do it one on one. "I don't think vampires are a good table conversation. Plus I didn't sign up for something like this. I was just coming to see if you still wanted to do it." he said, shrugging his shoulders. "This is too tense for my liking. I'll be uh.. out here or something." he said as he moved to the door way, leaning against the frame. He could still hear everything that was being said, but he didn't make it so he appeared to be included in all of the madness going on.
ooc: Short, sorry x.x

After the reminder that he was to behave and stating that she did not need the animosity between him and Daryl, Trent threw Marina an apologetic look and then looked at Daryl, giving him the same look, though it pained him to do so. She then went on, stating that she had been scratched by a werewolf. At this, Trenton's eyes flashed worriedly. "Scratched? Are you sure you are all right, Bella?" he queried. He barely heard what the werewolf said, but came to attention when he spoke directly to him. "A wise idea," he agreed.
When the Twilight series was mentioned, Trenton growled in annoyance. "That is the most ridiculous series I have heard of," he muttered, nodding in agreement to the werewolf's statement. "I saw a werewolf transforming once. It looked...rather painful," he commented, his tone displaying the barest hint of sympathy.
At Marina's lunch invitation, Trenton nodded. "Lunch would be lovely," he agreed just as the werewolf declined the invitation. He turned to the man. "Are you certain you will not stay? I promise to be on my best behavior if you do," he said, surprising himself.

She tried to be sympathetic when Darryl spoke of how hard it was for new werewolves to control themselves, "Darryl I understand the pressure you are under but whoever it was that bit Zach and scratched me is a danger. She NEVER should have been left on her own. You can get pissed at my father all you like but if you don't deal with the situation he will. I won't be able to stop him. Hell he won't even tell me he's done it." she resented the fact that she was put in this position, "As for why I didn't tell you? I didn't know why you were here. For all I knew you were some sort of werewolf enforcer that kept humans from learning about you."
"I thought you liked the series Trent considering you call me Bella but I'm sorry for mentioning that series. I don't like having to choose." she folded her arms and looked at Darryl "I'm sorry your friend lost control." she said although it hurt that she probably would never even get an apology for being terrified and having to fight for her life.
"Lock me up?" she bit her lip and her hands clinched reflexively, "I understand but its gonna creep me the hell out." was all she got out as she tried to calm the urge to just bolt and leave. She wanted to run for the hills and just curl up and cry. She didn't want to have to feel so alone any more or be reminded of her past.
"I think this would be better with some food. I can't think about this any more." she looked at Darryl as he excused himself, "Go check on Zach and your friend. Keep me posted on Zach. I don't want to make things worse for him. Let me know when its okay to be near him. He probably needs a few friends right now."
She saw Wes and she groaned, "I'm sorry, Wes. I wasn't expecting all the damn drama. FML I totally understand if you don't want to have lunch or anything but you're one of the few normal people in my life that I can talk to about stuff that's not life and death." she didn't know if any of them would stay but she hoped they would, "Please can we just eat lunch and pretend to be normal for five minutes? Please?"
