Merry slipped into the store gently, her heels clicking on the floor as she looked about and the bell announced her presence. With all the craziness that had been happening she still hadn't gotten a chance to have Everette look at her hand.
Her father had been having her clean it with holy water and she'd been putting healing salve on it but he'd insisted she go and get a second opinion just to be safe. She sighed and looked about. For all that she had been going out with Connor she was still happiest in the sun and even now she found herself creeping into where a sun beam sparkled and sighing happily when the warmth washed over her. Sunbeams made her sleepy and happy like a cat and her yellow dress highlighted her happy mood all the more.
Her brown eyes took in some of the shop and she smelled the first hint of what had been an epic battle (unbeknownst to her). Wood smoke tickled her nose and her face showed concern, "Everette, are you okay?" she called. Not wanting to be rude and walk all over his place.

It was over, thank god. He hadn't felt this relieved in months, even though he felt like a pile of crap. Still, the store had been out of commission for days now. The manager was pissed because of what happened, but understood. Carl was a witch, and old one at that but the fact that Selena's showdown had to happen in the shop pissed him off. Especially about what happened to Chicken Wing, that upset him too. Ev understood, he wasn't going to fight against it. But he couldn't have controlled Selena, he was just happy this week of wacky was over for good, and now he could get things back to the way they were. Well, hopefully. Over two thousand dollars worth of stoke was destroyed, the back room was messier even then usual and his conscience wasn't exactly squeaky clean yet either. It was going to take time, and lots of it. But just one step at a time. But even now, he stood out back with a sigh. It was like a bomb. He looked to where Selena did the banshee bomb, his blood stains on the dusty wooden floor along with Jace's. It was horrid, but he had to do it.
With cuts and scrapes over him, a cast on his wrist and even bruises from the lizard demons. This is how it went. Selena rocked up here to steal Ev's blood, and instead of just his she took Jace's too, making her all more powerful. The circle barely escaped, and the next thing he knew they were at Hart Enterprises. The Brothers, The Circle, Eli and even Thayer, where they faced off and got sucked in this hell-whole dimension where they fought against lizard demons and bonded together to get out. Kyra used Selena's figment, Angel to kill her and now they were to live happily ever after. Right? Picking up a mop, he was ready to wipe up the soot when he heard his name. What the? Was it Merry?
Dropping the mop to the ground, he had to get her out of there. It wasn't that he didn't trust her, it is that the shop door was supposed to be locked and it wasn't exactly safe around. He sighed and opened the door, seeing her in the usual heals and dress. Always beautiful and always unexpected. Sighing, he shook his head as he walked towards her. ''Merry, what are you doing here? Sweetie, the store is closed''. He didn't want to be rude, but he had to fix this place up. Damn it right? Merry is a sweet girl, but she couldn't see this. No one could. But she seemed worried. ''Hunny, what's going on?''. Mr Sensitivity was poking his head out again.

She flushed when he said the door was closed. She hadn't meant to bust into their place, "Well, I didn't mean to trespass. I tried to come here the other day and everyone had gone home. She held out her hand, careful to make sure she was standing in direct sunlight and that he saw the bracelet with her holy symbol around her wrist. "Everette, the other night when I was watching the library a fledgling vampire bit me on the hand." she showed him the bandaged limb, "My dad's been having me soak it in holy water and use a healing salve but he wanted you to look at it to be safe. He says I've got an immunity to whatever turns vampires into what they are but he wanted to be sure."
She exhaled and smoothed her skirt gently, "The vampire that bit me didn't mean to Everette. He took me here and then to the hospital right after he did it. He's just been worried sick and I'd hate to think of him worrying over such a thing if there is nothing wrong." she looked at him and exhaled before smiling, "So, Doc Evans, you think I'm gonna live?" she said with a hopeful tone.
She pinched the bridge of her nose, "That and with all the research I'm doing I...well I don't know when it happened but I think my dad is a vampire. I mean he knew way too much about this and how would he know I'd be immune its just too coincidental that the guy that bit me happens to drop my dad's name. I mean its not like he was saying "Your dad tried to stake me he was implying my dad was a vampire. Its kind of hard to miss that you know? And how do I mention that to my dad? I mean my dad raised all of us and you've seen every single one of us out in daylight, Everette. Its just confusing."

The sweet but constant girl had a problem. Ev had several like trying to save his job, trying to help his brother and basically trying to save the world from evil and a turn of the worst. But who was he if he didn't try to help. Sighing, he looked down at her hand as he witnessed the bite. A severe bite actually and from the main puncture wounds he would say vampire but she bet him to it. She was attacked and lived? Odd, but he had might aswell helped. ''Jesus Merry, what did he do? Trip and his fangs fell into your hand?''. He listened to her as he went to grab some things. Rosemary oil and liquid mercury for the pain and a spell to heal. He had been healing wounds for a year now. As long as they are not life threatening then it was a piece of cake, if they are mortal wounds then you invoke Osiris and that is just a whole lot of drama he didn't want to deal with. Hearing what she said, he had the things he needed and walked back over to her. ''It's fine Merry. You kind of have to be near death to turn people, and you seem as bright as can be. Just let me - fix it for you''. He gave her a smile as he took her hand, concentrating to get the steps right.
It was a Merry rant. He didn't know much about her dad at all, so he couldn't say anything. But he was a vamp? Like a vampire vampire, not an Eli vampire? She still took advice from a vampire dad, and who said that trends don't spread like abola. Axel and Eli, Merry and her dad. It was like vampires and humans were destined to co-exist. No way! He listened to her though, about her dad and Connor as she asked if the wound was okay. ''It's all good. You'll be fine''. Putting four drops of Rosemary oil in the wound, he put two mercury drops in to stop the pain. It would have stung a bit at first, but appart from that it was fine. Better then the later though. He was worried that she had freaked out about possibly becoming a vampire. Hopefully she didn't drink any of his blood though.
''Gaeus grass, meld to mend''. Chanting the incantation three times, creepy ropes of skin began to string over the wound, taking it away. The pain was gone and the wound was demolished. She might have the itchiest hand ever now, but it worked. But then, he gasped as he felt the Earth heal him as well. Atleast his cuts and bruises, but the cast was going to have to stay with him for a few days now. Feeling accomplished, he looked to her as she was down with confusion. ''Merry, you are a smart girl. You will work it out hun, just don't listen to vamps. You are your family are rad but I don't know about your dad. Worrying much?''. He smiled as he gathered the ingredients to put back. ''But if you need any help, you know I'm just a buzz away. Or here since I have no life''. He smirked reassuringly as he place the vials back in the rack.

"He was telling me a bit of his story and me being stupid reached out my hand and he chomped down on it. I pressed on his gum line and got him to release and told him I wasn't food." she pointed out and waited for him to come back with the proper ingredients. "I kept myself calm which I think helped him to regain his self control." she was babbling she knew but she really didn't know what else to do.
Merry nodded, her curls bouncing as she regarded Everette, "Thank you, Everette. You're the best." she said happily. "Are you sure I can't help you with something? You know my family is always to help out when needed." she offered to him. "Even if its helping clean up from the freight train that blew through here." she said gently while he worked.
Merry relaxed, "Oh good. I knew you'd fix it. I knew better than to drink any of his blood so if you said its okay I'll be fine." she murmured before he began chanting. She lended what energy she could for him. "That feels so weird, Everette. Like my skin is all itchy. Gahhhh." she giggled though and beamed at him, "You're amazing as always."
She put her hands on her hips and clucked her tongue, "Well then I insist you come on a picnic lunch. Bring your brothers if you want. You need to get out and just be you. No pressure or dating issues. You can meet my cousins and we can toss a frisbee around or just chillax for once. You gotta take time to be yourself or you'll make yourself sick."
She looked over at him and grinned, "It would do you some good I think." she announced happy as her name as always. There was little that could keep her down save for her own personal issues.

Merry's experience definitely didn't seem like chock loads of fun. He was happy that the chomping didn't turn to her neck, but the only advice he could give her was not to trust a vampire. But he father was one, and maybe she could take care of herself. He didn't know. But he smiled at her as he looked at her, sighing. He was stumped. Maybe this was why journalism was his goal and not psychology. Looking at the girl, he wasn't sure what he could say. So he went with his gut. "Well, for now on, let's stay away from biting distance. K?". He gave her a smile as he moved towards her with the ingriedients.
She was grateful though that he was doing this. Healing was easy, it was the reprecussions that were a bitch. Their can be a rash where the wound was on him or crazy nightmare about blood. Always fun either way. She was so grateful that they he was helping that he requested help. Merry was definitely a sweet girl, but he couldn't pull her into this. They just went through what could have been an apocolypse. He couldn't drag anyone else into it, but it was sweet anyways. "I know Merr, but I can't possibly drag youse into this. I have the circle, it's enough. But the Lovelace's are always fun". He winked at her as he healed her.
With no time at all, it was healed. Score 1 for the Sharman! It had healed kind of creepedly, but then she complained. Oh god, something went wrong! It could have had something stuck in it. Maybe she was turning! Maybe the spirits hated them completely today! But she was teasing. When she beamed he grinned at her as he gave her a pat on the arm as he turned to go put the ingredients back. "Give me a heartattack why don't you". He smiled and winked with a swollen eye. He felt like crap and looked worse, but Merry was still able to make him smile. Using his broken arm to hold the vial to his chest, he put it back and turned back to her. She was so bright, he just felt dark and - well - kind of depressive.
"Maybe. Soon, maybe not right now. Thanks for the support, but I need to be able to be me before - I'm just in a bad place right now. I kind of need to be alone. But I'll definitely call you, thanks Merry". He forced a smile and turned from her, grabbing a broom with his free hand as he went back out back. He didn't not want her there, he just wasn't exactly in a good place right now. Sure, they saved the world from whatever Selena was trying to get out of that portal. But that's it! He nearly lost his family, his friends, his circle. He needed to do what was right; and recover.

She felt the sunlight touch her back and she stretched in spite of herself. She wasn't a hunter by any means and she knew that he meant well but Ev seemed to be going back into his own problems again. It made her feel shoved out and she did her best to not take it personal. She looked at him, "I can help you if you let me Ev. Just give me a moment to look at you." she said as she focused in on him. Her energy coalessed and danced. She was unique in her family if nothing else. Her cousin's had their way of spellcasting but Merry's was through song Come to me, Lord and Lady Heal this spirit, heal this soul Come to me, Lord and Lady Mind and body shall be whole
Beast of the burning sunlight Sear the wound tha pain my cease Mistress of watery midnight Hold us fast and bring us peace [/i] She moved her hands in sign language instinctively. It had been something she had been doing since she could toddle, the gestures adding to the power she worked with. Its golden light washing over the room, and with luck, Everett. Three times round for healing, three times round for clearing the heart and three times for clearing the soul. When the energy finished and dissappated it seemed like things were better to her at least. She peered at Everette and looked hopeful. "I understand you need to be alone, Everette but sometimes you have to be willing to share a burden to lessen its load. Our coven is always at your disposal as you know. Lord and Lady's blessing to you." she said as she sensed he wanted to clean and be by himself for a while. The healing chant she cast would not harm anything but it might help.
