After Daryl had made his leave as politely as possible with the shock of the news he had gotten, it hadn't taken him long at all as he had hoped to track down Shannelle and figure out where she'd be. So he had made his way to the college campus and from there to her dorm room, hopefully she would be alone, and then not because he wanted privacy for the two of them since the last time they really say each other was when they ended up sleeping together in his office, but he shouldn't think about that now... He was here to talk to her about what happened to Zach, about what to do with tonight again, and from there he would just have to see how the conversation went.
He could still hear the way Mari talked about last night to him about what happened, the way she described how Shannelle had been, but on the other hand she was also just frustrated and still shocked herself which he could also understand, hopefully that Trent vamp guy would keep her isolated like he had asked, then they could keep her locked inside her house to make sure that if she was or wasn't going to turn into a werewolf herself after the scratch he had gotten, but still he was more worried about that Zach guy, next to Shannelle, somehow he just still put some faith in the hope that Mari being a Cupid would keep her immune from it and solve that problem.
After making his way through the hallways and through some of the people that were talking there, or just walking by him, he had finally found the right room and kept standing there for a few seconds in front of it, taking a deep breath for a moment. He just hoped that his feelings would keep at bay so he could focus on the matter at hand, but he also hoped that she would still want to see him and be open to why he was here. Besides, it actually made him nervous for some reason when he realized that he was actually about to enter her dorm room. After he shook his head to shake it off as best as he could, he raised his hand and then knocked on the door and then waited as he tried to listen inside if he had been right that she was here. 'Shannelle?' He asked simply thinking she would hear and maybe even smell if that was attune enough that it was him, which he hoped would in this case motivate her to open up instead of scaring her off as he constantly did in the beginning.

Shannelle knew she had done something wrong. That while she was in her wolf-form, she had attacked someone.. People, humans. But, it was all such a blur that she was making herself go crazy for wanting to remember. If she would just be able to piece everything together, she would be able with whatever damage she had done to them. She knew the wolf inside her had been hungry, frustrated and that it wanted to come out and play, whatever that had meant at all. With a sigh, she put a hand in her hair and closed her eyes, as she sat down on the bed.
When she smelled someone familiar, she looked up and heard Daryl call her name, making her stand up and walk to the door, which she opened with trembling hands. ”Daryl..” She said softly, before looking into the hallway and eventually holding the door open further. ”I think you’re not here for just a friendly visit?” She asked him, looking in his eyes, for a sign of whatever was the reason he was here.

Daryl could imagine very well how Shannelle must be feeling, the realization of that she had did something, even some of the feelings her wolf form must have felt and thought, but not remembering anything more important than that of what exactly had happened and she had done, he knew that feeling all too well. That was also why he knew that if she kept being alone with just those thoughts and trying to remember, she would drive herself nuts and he didn't want her to do that either.
Daryl could already smell her behind the door inside the room, but he didn't want to force her to open up in case she didn't want to, in that case he had already decided he would take a seat next to the door and wait for an opportunity to talk to her. Still he was slightly happy and mostly relieved when he heard her make her way to the door, and once she opened it he looked at her with a slight smile. 'Hey..' He said softly, throwing a slight glance past her into the room before looking back at her eyes and because of the feeling that gave him simultaneously biting his lip to try and suppress that. 'No... I wish I was.' He said meaningful and honestly because he truly wished that he would have been here for a more pleasant reason.
'I heard about last night, about what happened...' He started but then shortly tilted his head slightly to the side. 'But you probably don't remember what it was exactly that happened do you?' He asked carefully, but looking right at her eyes, showing her that he understood and knew that feeling all too well. 'Can I... Come in? So we can talk?' He asked somewhat careful again as his eyes had looked through the hallway before stepping inside a little already because of the way she had kept the door open further, this way he wasn't inside completely, but if she was okay with him being inside the room, she could at least already close the door behind him.

Shannelle heard what Daryl said and bit her lip, as she looked away for a moment, trying to regain herself. ”What did I do?” She asked, scared of what he’d say, but knew she needed to hear him say it anyhow. ”What happened?” She shook her head to let him know that she didn’t remember, although right about now, she wished that she did remember. That she did know what she had done.
”Yeah, come on in.” Shannelle said softly, holding the door open further and walking back in, so he could close the door behind him, once he was inside. She didn’t need people listening in on their conversation and if they kept in the hallway, people would be bound to hear at least something. When he however, already stepped inside, she closed the door behind them and leant against it. ”So, what exactly did I do? How bad is it?”

Daryl could clearly see how Shannelle bit her lip, which in turn caused him to do the same to his own lip as he saw how she tried to regain herself by looking away for a moment. He didn't answer her questions yet about what she had done, what had happened until he was inside and she shut the door behind him. His eyes glanced around the room again now that he could do that easier, but after standing there for a moment, he turned around and looked at Shannelle with a sigh that followed. 'I won't lie to you, otherwise I wouldn't be here... It's pretty bad.' Daryl said honestly before stepping closer to her again and looking at her eyes for a moment. 'Are you sure that you don't... You know, want to sit down?' He asked carefully while biting his lip again.
After waiting for a short moment for her to answer or do something with that question, Daryl sighed again, looked down, and then started talking as he slowly looked back up at her. 'You attacked two people, luckily one is a Cupid for crying out loud so I'm hoping that she'll be immune to the scratch you gave her, but... There was also a guy there, a human and I'm not sure but I think you know him...' He told her completely honest but carefully a little, he didn't want to just drop the bomb on her because he knew it would already be hard enough probably. 'You bit a guy named Zach, so he'll have to be locked up tonight for starters, for his own protection, I'm doing the same with Mari even though she's a cupid, and even though I don't know exactly where he is yet, I promise you that I'll find him before tonight.' He promised her with a determined look in his eyes.
After he looked down again for a second, he raised his head with a sigh again and then looked at her again. 'But I also want you to come with me... For tonight.' He started softly as he kept looking at her, if he was being honest he could also tell her that part, it was also for her own good after all. 'I know you didn't want my help, I still don't want to force you to take it to be honest, and also this isn't about... us...' He said as he swallowed and looked away for a second as he said that. 'But it's for your own good too, it's the same as I'm going to do to myself and the rest of the pack, to keep us from harming anyone, and you can't do this alone, so please let me help you...' He asked her that last part softly and on the edge of actually fully begging her.

Shannelle just stood there, leaning against the door and looking at Daryl, as she listened to what he said to her. ”I had a feeling it was bad, I can still feel the feelings of when I was a wolf.. It was hungry and frustrated and wanted to play. Play, Daryl, as if what I did was a stupid game!” She closed her eyes and sighed, before walking to the bed and sitting down there. He was right, it was better if she sat down for whatever he was going to tell her.
When Daryl started talking about the attack, she bit her lip and closed her eyes again, as she slowly breathed out. ”It could have been worse.. At least I didn’t kill anyone.. I thought I killed someone.” She said, as she opened her eyes and looked at him. When she heard who it was, that was probably going to be a werewolf because of her, she felt as if she couldn’t breathe, as if someone had just sucked the air out of her lungs. ”Zach is.. Was my friend..” She said softly, before looking at her hands. ”Let me help.. Zach is my responsibility now. You may be the Alpha, but I..” She couldn’t even freakin’ say it. She had turned him. Turned him into a werewolf, something she hated.. She hated what she was and for Daryl to have done this to her and now.. Now she had done it to someone herself! One of her friends, nonetheless!
”You want me to come with you? Where? I mean, we both know what happened last time us two were alone, right?” Shannelle asked, suddenly feeling quite nervous. He had that effect on her, to make her nervous and not only because he was her pack’s leader. But basically because they slept together and she couldn’t shake him. As if he had snuck up on her or something.. Well, he had, it was how they met.. He snuck up on her and made her a werewolf, which was a perfect way of telling someone you loved them.. Insert the sarcasm, but it was how they met, not that it was a good conversation subject, though.
When he eventually said, that it wasn’t about them, it practically dragged her back to the present tense and she looked at him blankly, before nodding. ”I know.” She said softly, on both subjects, that it wasn’t about them and that it was for her own good, it would kill her if she actually killed someone she cared about. Well, it killed her inside too, every time she actually killed someone, even though it was a stranger, because she had no control over her werewolf side. At all. ”Are we gonna lock us up or something?”

While Shannelle had kept just standing there leaning against the door as she listened to what he told her, it soon enough turned around where he just stood there in front of her, listening to what she said and he sighed because he knew exactly what and how she meant it when she talked about the feelings of her wolf form and how it had seen it like some stupid game. 'I know exactly what you mean, the contradictory feeling of that beast inside you, because it can also easily enough make you doubt yourself, if it's also a part of yourself and that you just don't know it... But it's definitely not the case with you, I'm sure of that. It's just simply a damn curse, but no matter what, you can't lose sight of yourself or give up the fight of staying exactly that person..' He told her, trying to let her know how he knew how it felt and couldn't help but look down again with the guilt that shook through his body for a moment.
Daryl turned around and followed her with both his eyes and walking along to the bed when Shannelle had walked there and sat down on it, and at first kept standing there in front of her, not wanting to instantly sit down next to her, but also afraid of the feelings it might even make stronger with the memories of them now. 'You're right, and luckily you didn't do that.' He told her with a small and soft smile, wanting to let her know that way that it was really something that you could be happy and relieved about and it was something to not lose sight of because it might seem like a small kind of victory. He felt the guilt through him again as he saw Shannelle her reaction to when he told her that it was Zach and the way she changed from "is" to "was" about him being her friend. Yet before he could say something again to that, she looked at hands and asked to let her help, that Zach was her responsibility now. He couldn't help but slight softly because of that because it honestly automatically made a part of him feel proud, happy that she realized that, that she wanted to take it too.
Daryl carefully and softly sat down next to her then on the bed and looked at her with a reassuring look in his eyes. 'He can still be your friend, and of course I'll let you help, and you don't have to say it.' He said knowing how hard it probably was for her to even say it what she did, putting his hand shortly on her shoulder but then biting his lip and pulling it back because of that feeling again, that was partially a good feeling, but also still pretty uncomfortable and awkward too. 'I'll help you, to help him, if you'll let me...' He finished with a soft voice then, because that way she would know what to do and all too. When she started about how they both knew what happened last time when the two of them were alone, he felt that awkwardness again and nodded. 'Yeah... I can't really forget that...' He admitted mumbling a little.
A sigh escaped quietly from Daryl his lips as he looked to a random spot away from Shannelle again, but then shortly back anyway and shrugging with his shoulders when she said she knew it wasn't about them now. 'And we can't let it stand in the way either anyway, it's too important, even if it might be hard...' He had wanted to say for both of them, or otherwise at least for him, as to not jumping to conclusions, but he didn't want to give her the wrong impression in any way that he was trying to make her feel guilty or something, Hell, she already did that enough, he never wanted her to have to feel that guilt, like he did with how they had met. It was a very strange situation, there was no denying that, just like the feelings, tension and even attraction that Daryl still felt hanging in between them, he didn't know exactly in how much that was for her too though of course. And it kept being a very two-sided opposite feeling that he had with his love for her, because it was the whole reason his wolf form had held onto it, because it was so strong, but at the same time, he couldn't deny that deep inside he still had some hope for them, especially because he was sure between them would never had happened otherwise.
He then focused on the matter at hand again, which with the importance luckily wasn't that hard as he had feared, he could still prioritize with his duties and responsibilities as Alpha. 'Yes, the house I have has the perfect chambers in the basement for it, strong doors that can even hold us, and we can prepare for the transformation, making sure we're tied and/or chained up and/or make the wolf less strong.' He explained her before biting his lip and looking down, thinking of how he had been too late that night he turned her to do so. Besides, it probably wouldn't have much use in telling her that, especially not now, and definitely not that if it had gone differently, he would have done it completely different, that he wouldn't have had to confront her after he turned her like some creep. 'I didn't want to force you to come with me, especially not after what happened that last time, but I don't want you to have to feel more guilty than this, you absolutely don't deserve that.' He said softly yet determined when he looked back up at her eyes next to him.

Shannelle didn't really know what to say as things had started to move up in a much faster pace than she could keep up with. She had hurt and not to mention transformed one of her friends into the same animal as she had been turned into. How could she ever just begin to forgive herself? She looked at Daryl and took a moment to regain herself, as she kept looking at him, blankly. "I'm sure saying that comes mandatory for some werewolves." She eventually said, with a sarcastic undertone in her voice. She then rolled her eyes and looked up at him, once she sat down on the bed. "Yes, really lucky." She couldn't help but say. It was just.. too much. All of it. She couldn't handle it all, not right now.
When Daryl sat down on the bed, she looked away for a moment as her thoughts involuntarily lingered on him for a moment. "I can't say no to you offering your help to me." She said with a sigh as she looked up slowly, as he put his hand on her shoulder. When she heard him mumbling, she didn't have to strain herself to heat what he said. No, she heard it loud and clear and sighed because of it. "Not easy to forget something like that." She said softly. Especially not if you saw each other almost every day. "Hard for who? It happened, remember that there was a spell going on? Everyone was lovesick." She got up from the bed for two reasons. One, she wanted to put as much distance between them again as possible and two, she was getting frustrated with the way he treated her. Like she didn't know about the consequences of transforming or whatever.
Yes, it was a weird situation, she had felt the tension too, of course she did. even though she didn't want to feel it. She didn't want to be in love with him, merely for the reason of what he did to her and what she had now done to Zach. If Zach didn't want to talk to her, like ever again, she wouldn't really be surprised. Slowly she looked at him again and sighed. "Lovely." She said sarcastically. When she heard what he said, she got back to the bed and sat down as she looked him in the eye. "I'm trying to forgive you, honestly, but I don't know if i really can.. Not yet. But I will come with you, I don't want to hurt any more people."

Daryl totally hadn't want things to go like this, that's why he went to her as quickly as possible once he had gathered the courage, but also why he had done it so stupidly, he hadn't want her to feel these things, he didn't want her to feel the things that he felt inside of him, the guilt that he still carried with him, and he of course hadn't want to let things come at such a much faster pace than either of them had clearly wanted and hoped for. He then looked down and closed his eyes for a second when she said that she was sure that for some werewolves saying that came mandatory. 'And you also think that of me?' He then asked her softly but wanting to hear that honestly as he slowly looked back at her. 'There aren't much werewolves that actually take their responsibility so seriously, that care about what happens to others... I have just about a dozen werewolves in my pack here, and you're one of three others that have been turned by me, the rest I took in because they were different from the packs they were in before, because they thought they were too soft...' He told her as he bit his lip, because he knew it wouldn't make things much easier for her, but he did want to tell her that in full honesty, that there were indeed enough werewolves that just didn't care, that were just the exact animals that their wolf form was. He had a hard time seeing her like this, seeing very clearly that it was too much for her, all of it, that she just couldn't really handle it all now. 'I'm so sorry that I couldn't prevent more...' He told her softly as he then looked away that he had managed to keep her from killing anyone else, but that he hadn't been able to prevent her from turning someone, exactly like he had done to her.
Daryl quickly continued the biting of his lip and inside of his cheek when he saw how Shannelle looked away when he sat down next to her on the bed, but he couldn't really blame her either, he just mostly wondered what was going on in her head at that moment, what the exact reason was at that moment for turning her head away. 'That's good, well not good, you know what I mean...' He said softly with his hand on her shoulder, a very small smile on his face because he automatically felt bad seeing her feeling this way, but he was happy that she didn't refuse his help. 'No, exactly...' He agreed again softly about it not being easy to forget something like that, and especially not seeing each other so much, but they couldn't let that stand in the way, not anymore after what had happened. When Shannelle eventually got up from the bed after asking him for who it would be hard, and mentioning the spell, Daryl smiled slightly and shrugged with his shoulders. 'I remember, but I can't say for sure for you after all, if it's hard for you too... But it is for me, because I didn't need a spell to feel that way, to be lovesick.' He admitted to her as he looked at where she was standing as he just opened his mouth clearly to add something to it, something he wanted to say about his feelings for her, but kept it in, that wasn't the priority now, he just hadn't been able to help than saying it to her.
Daryl did get the idea that she was getting frustrated too, and that she wanted to have as much distance between them as possible again, but he didn't know whether it was simply because of him, that she still just didn't want to be close to him, his hand on her shoulder and all, or that it was just because of the frustration, or even that... She did really feel something for him like he hoped and secretly thought after what had happened and what she had said then, he just wasn't sure which of those options. Yet, even with this distance between them, he could still feel the tension, his heart going faster because of it, but it was simple for him, he was sure of his feelings, but even if Shannelle was also in love with his as he secretly slightly thought and at least hoped, she probably would be in conflict about it because of just that, what he had done to her, and because of that had now done to Zach. 'I know... It's not really... The best way, and it sounds and looks all but pleasant...' Daryl sighed admitting that about the chains and stuff. When she sat back down next to him, he looked her back straight in the eyes and nodded softly to what she told him about trying to forgive him but that she didn't think that she could, not yet at least. 'I promise you Shannelle, I'll make sure you don't anymore, and I'll find a way, and if you want to, we'll find a way, to control it... But it'll be difficult, painful, and you'll need to open your mind up to it.' He said truthfully and had wanted to say to trust him, but that would be too much to ask already as he nodded and kept looking her straight in the eyes to also show that he meant his promise, but also because for him it kept being extremely tempting to look in her eyes like that with her sitting next to him.
