Where Are You? | Thayer, Later Rodney |

When an unfamiliar face answered his door knocking, he was slightly started, obviously expecting Eli to be answering the door. "Oh...Hey, Eli's roomate I'm guessing? Sorry, my names Axel, I'm a friend of Eli's...We were supposed to be going to a party going, he was supposed to come get me, but he hasn't yet. Is he around, or do you know where he got to?" He hadn't really heard anything about Eli's roomate, so couldn't really make any judgements about him. He seemed friendly enough, and he looked like a nice enough guy. If he was Eli's roomate, Eli must like him, and therefore Axel would be open to liking him.

He thought it was rather strange. The room wasn't that big from what he could see, like his, and he couldn't see Eli anywhere in sight, unless he was in the shower or something. But even so, he thought he already knew the roomate's response before he even gave it to him. Eli just didn't seem to be here, which although explained why he hadn't showed up at his dorm yet, didn't explain why Eli was nowhere to be found, and late too. From what he knew of Eli, lateness just wasn't one of his traits. He was always on time, which made him a bit confused about what could have happened. Maybe he was just working himself up, boy did Eli have him whipped already?

As he glanced at this man, he sensed something 'off' putting about him, but couldn't figure out what he was. He seemed nice, so why was he feeling a little awkward? Was it simply because he didn't know the guy and was knocking on a random's dorm, even though Eli was in that dorm? It was a strange situation, maybe this roomate would be able to shed some light on everything?

He felt relieved when Thayer explained to him that Eli had gone out for a bit and would be back soon. "Nice of him to tell me this..." He spoke softly as he continued to listen to the other man. Maybe he should've just waited at the dorm, now he looked like an idiot rushing over to Eli's dorm and wondering where he is, then waiting with his roomate while he arrived home. Eli probably wasn't even ready, which would mean more awkward tension to come. But his question was, why was Eli even out at all, when they were supposed to be going out tonight? That in itself made no sense, but he decided to just go with it and find out from Eli soon.

He nodded with a slight smile as Thayer told him he could wait, and introduced himself. Thayer? That was a rather unique name, though he had noticed a lot of people in Los Angeles having unique names. Hell, his was probably even unique. "Nice to meet you..." He replied back to the boy, before being told to come in and sit down. Didn't he look stupid, just standing at the door watching as Thayer grabbed a bowl of cereal and turned the television on. He walked into the room slowly, walking around, noticing the mess Thayer was talking about. He grinned softly to himself, noticing Eli's side. It was cute, seeing his side of the dorm so messy, he would definantly have to tease Eli about that when he sees him next.

He took a seat at the couch near Thayer, watching the television. "Its okay, this place has nothing on my mess...Though luckily my roomate hates it so much and cleans it himself." He grinned softly. Good ol' Rodney, he loved having a friend like that, he really was the perfect roomate, doing all the things Axel hated. And hey, he was making it up to him by inviting him out to a party, and was hoping Rodney would really let loose and enjoy himself. He felt an awkward silence, turning over to the other man. "So...You and Eli pretty close?" He asked curiously, for lack of something better to say. He wanted to at least come over as cool, seeing as most roomates gossiped about other people to eachother, and he wanted to make a good impression on Thayer's roomate.

He nodded with a smile at Thayer's messy comment. "Your probably right, though if you met my roomate, you'd probably think otherwise." He chuckled softly, before continuing to watch tv. He hadn't really been much of a sit down and watch television person lately, with everything going on and all. If he wanted to see a horror or action movie, all he had to do really was walk down the street and he'd find one. The only problem? He would be co-starring in that action/horror movie, which just made it so much more exciting. Insert sarchasm here.

He glanced over at Thayer again curiously as he spoke of going seperate paths with Eli. He didn't really know what that meant...Had they had something going on in the past? Well, it would make sense, he supposed, being roomates and all. And he really didn't know that much about Eli apart from what they've spoken about, which really isn't too much since most of their time spent together was fleeing from a raging vampire and getting frisky under the sheets with eachother. He really didn't know anything about the relationship between these two. Should be? Was it even any of his business or his place to become involved? He chuckled softly as Thayer teased, joking about what he said. "I didn't mean...Like that or anything, was just curious. I've noticed being roomates with someone is really a bonding experience, kinda weird how that works out, huh?" It was like whoever you get stuck with in the dorm is your best friend for life. He was fortunate to get someone more than decent in Rodney, though.

Thayer switched it over to family guy, it was a funny show, but he hadn't really invested much time into it. "Sure, its okay. Not too fond of evil characters though..." He left it at that. Although they could be mildly entertaining, he had enough experiences with 'evil characters' recently that he just needed a break from evil altogether. If that was even possible for him? He doubted it, but it was always worth a try, right?

Thayer then asked the complicated question on how Eli and he had met. "Well, when we met we pretty much wanted to rip eachother's throats out," he responded with a chuckle. "Long story," he finished off with a slight smile. It wasn't exactly one of those stories he was too proud of telling. And how did he explain the vampire attacked them part, anyway? He pulled out his phone, looking over at Thayer. "I might give him a buzz, seems like his been gone for ages, or something. Anyway, I don't think I'm the best guy to be watching family guy with you, would probably ruin the moments for you." He grinned softly, as he stood up from the couch, searching through his contacts for Eli...

Just as he had finished dialing the numbers, Thayer had begun running his hand up his forearm continuously. What the? He felt a tingling feeling, making him feel rather relaxed quickly, which was the most odd feeling, something was definantly wrong. But it was too late for him to really react as he was soon pushed onto the couch, and kissed by Thayer, unable to do anything. At first he thought it was Thayer hitting on him or something, however his body just felt powerless for some reason as he stared blankly into the man's eyes, almost hypnotising him or something. He then felt the energy being drained out of him or something, and he begun to feel weaker and weaker, until finally he passed out unconscious on the couch, with Thayer over him.

He work up from an unconscious state, looking around as his eyes were blurred, beginning to regain their focus. He felt like he barely had any energy, as if he had just done a maraphon or something. He went to move his arms, but couldn't, thinking it was because he had no energy. But he managed to move his head down, noticing that he had telephone wire wrapped around his arms, tying him to the chair. He looked up again, noticing Thayer, who was sitting on the table observing him. He cringed his eyes as if he had just woken up from a sleep, which in many ways he had and eyed Thayer. What was Thayer's intentions behind this, he was evil too?

"Why are you doing this? Who are you?" He questioned sternly towards the boy. He wasn't a vampire, he knew that. He attended the university, what were the odds of a vampire being here, unless they were here to target him or something? His next thought was that he was one of Selena's goons, that seemed to make perfect sense since tying him up seemed to be high on her like list.

He stared blankly at the man as he explained to him he wasn't lying. Whatever. "Yeah, thats who you are. What are you? Demon, vampire? No, obviously not vampire or you wouldn't be here. What is it? Are you a soul-sucking harpy or something? Male banshee? Nymph? Am I getting close, or something?" He continued to eye the man carefully, not enjoying this man's company anymore. The man had explained that he had made a deal with someone. Who, were 'they' exactly? And what kind of deal was he even involved in, it just didn't make much sense at all.

He sighed softly. "You can just stop explaining your bullshit to me. I am sick of getting kidnapped by everyone because there is some value in kidnapping me. Go kidnap a horse or something, at least then the horse might give a crap about whatever your saying dude. Let me guess, you cut a deal with Hart Enterprises? Really, there isn't much surprise there. What was it, huh? They would give you a trip to Paris? A ferrari? Your going to get a date with Selena? I'm really curious what was so tempting that you just decide to attack random people. Thats usually something evil people do in this town, just saying." He spoke truth though, only evil people, like vampires, did acts like this man had done. He didnt' exactly know what Thayer was, but having an ability as powerful as that, it couldn't be a good thing. He hoped Eli would march through the doors now and rescue him from this idiotic man.

He rolled his eyes as the man further tried to 'sugar coat' the situation. "Will you shut up with the 'we could be friends' bullshit? We will never be friends, and once Eli finds out about what a snake you are, I'm sure you won't even have him as a friend, either. I hope whatever you get out of this is worth it, because when I get a chance to get my hands on you, I don't care what you are, I'm going for the kill." He was feeling a burst of anger inside him, uncontrollable almost. He really was sick of being kidnapped and treated like this, he just wanted his normal life back. Wasn't there anyone else who could be kidnapped? Why was he so damn special?

An incubus? He really had no idea what that term meant, but he guessed it was another way of saying "energy sucker" or something along those lines. He looked to the side as the man rattled on about enjoying to drain people, and how his brothers and he were unaffected by it. What was with everyone in this town and boring him to death with torture rather than actually beating the life out of him, like you see in the movies? He had to admit though, this whole mental torture thing was frustrating and was really getting to him. Beat the hell out of his body all you like, but when you keep talking to him about things he sees as pointless, that is more than torture. Enough already!

"More valuable than me? Is that even possible in this town? I'm like the friggan Golden Fleece around here...I've probably been snatched more times than it has as well too...I mean, I'm not saying I am, but the way everyone kepts acting around here, I'm starting to wonder..." He continued to eye the man fiercely, thinking of ways he could escape. He had to admit, he was lacking bright ideas at the moment, he couldn't break free of the bonds. He didn't have the strength of Xzavier, or the magic of Everette. He just had...What? The ability of getting kidnapped constantly? Yes, what an awesome power that was. He had good reflexes...But it wasn't like dodging telephone cords was going to help him in any way to escape from his bonds. He really was at a loss for ideas. Oh and more mental torture, great.

He bit his lip again as Thayer spoke of Eli and that it wouldn't work out. He could put up with the other crap, but not this, not now. He wasn't going to let this dude dictate what would happen between them, he didn't know anything about him, or them. "So he told you about us, huh? Sounds like your fuelled with some jealously there. Did you pursue him and he rejected you, leaving you all lonely and stuff, so decided to just take it out on me, considering you have powers, and all? I'll give it to you, the whole revenge on him is going well. But whats going to happen when I'm not tied up anymore?" Although he was talking smack, he was worrying at the back of his mind if Hart Enterprises were on their way, or something. He knew how powerful and resourceful they are, and he didnt' particularily want another session with Selena.

He felt a spark of anger inside him as he continued gloating about he and Eli's relationship. "You know nothing about it, okay. Nothing. And if you have the T-Shirt, then I have the bloody merchandise stand. I don't need you or anyone telling me whether or not I'm going to get hurt, I'll do whatever I want." He especially didn't like being told what to do, or at least in reference to being told what to do. He hated being tied up and being powerless while this guy derails his relationship with Eli, which has nothing to do with him, roomate or not.

He then witnessed Thayer's outburst and his true reasoning behind doing this. Axel was speechless, not really sure what to
say. He watched as Thayer sat down against the wall. "You think being the lackey of Hart Enterprises is going to get her back, huh? They are using you, like they use everyone. They don't care about what you have to gain, if anything. Once they have what they want, they will just toss you to the curb, trust me. You don't need to be involved with them..." He sighed softly. "I came here looking for my family too...But found out my parents were dead." He put his head down, in thought. Why was he even opening up to this guy like this? A guy who is happy to cart him off to get killed, or who knows what.
