LA Fever was hot tonight. The pun not intended, but it was packed. Bouncers stood at the door assessing the fire marshalls wishes and people crowded the bar and the dance floor. They looked up at the stage. It was a special night because it was a booked sorority party and the band had a gig tonight. Eli sat on stage on a stood, microphone to his mouth and the lights out as his black silihouette cast onto the white screen behind him. He waited, hearing laughter, chatting, screaming, moaning and all those other college-like noises. Not to mention the swearing, Eli had heard some pretty outragous stuff as he sat up stage. He swore, don't get me wrong. He could outswear a truck driver. But this stuff was horrid. But a good distraction to the pre-singing jitters.
The bass began, the distroted guitar went in for the intro. At the second bar Eli squinted at the stage lights coming on, the spot light straight on him. As the intro led into the dense verse, Eli stood up. The stool smashed over behind him as he held the mike stand close and sang. Nickleback was a good band and since he was in a hormone ridden club and with requests of previous rock music he picked this particular song. And he loved it.
"No" is a dirty word, Never gonna say it first, "No" is just a thought that never crosses my mind. Maybe in the parking lot, Better bring your friend along, Better off together than just one at a time.
S is for the simple need. E is for the ecstasy. X is just to mark the spot, Because that's the one you really want. Sex is always the answer, it's never a question, 'Cause the answer's yes, oh the answers (Yes) Not just a suggestion, if you ask the question, Then it's always yes. Yeah!
He didn't like to boost himself up too much, but yeah, they did rock. The guitar played great, drums kept the tempo awesomely and singing loud wasn't an issue for him tonight. Also from the fact that the crowd loved it, cheering and funnily still swearing as they went on. Eli got pretty carried away in the song throughout its duration. Not in a 'stage-diving-crowd-crawl' kind of way, but really enjoyed himself. Not to mention he was happy when they got to have a fifteen minute break after it. When they finished, there was applauds. More girls then guys by the way which was ironic. No girls, no.
Walking off of the stage, he made his way through the crowd and to the bar. After singing about Sex, well - Now it was time to flirt. He had already done the big rockstar thing and there was an excessive amount of guys his age here. And a sorority party! He was going to get laid and he was just making his pick. He saw a guy from behind, tall and build but then he turned around and he had thrown up all over himself. He had spluttered so much it actually looked he had been eating puke. After a furious gaze dismissal, he looked around for some more. Who knows, maybe he might meet someone worth keeping around. Or maybe he would be stuck with a tool. Or even maybe non of the above, just some casual convo.

Thayer was enjoying a nice Malibu-Pineapple drink at the bar as his roommate Eli and his band is playing. Thayer must admit, it sounded really well. He heard about this place around campus and decided to give it a look. Ironically it was the same night his roommate is playing. Maybe it was for the good. He’d have one person here he already knew. Thayer wasn’t the best person to make friends. He just couldn’t trust them. He was sipping the last drop until signaling the bartender for another one. The bartender poured him a drink as Thayer was nodding his head to the music.
The bartender brought him his drink and the bartender extended his hand so that Thayer could pay. Thayer simply put his hand in the bartenders hand and slowly begins to glide his fingers in the bartenders hand and slowly make his way up his forearm and back down again. As the bartender slowly goes into a Trans and stares only at Thayer while he slowly gets aroused by Thayers touch. Thayer then begins to talk to him. “Remember I paid for this earlier. I gave you all that money, to cover my drinks all night” Thayer smirks seductively at the Bartender as the bartender bashfully smiles and nods agreeing with what Thayer said Thayer then moves his hand away as the bartender walks off remembering that Thayer paid him for his drinks all night.
Thayer thought to himself “Another night….of many free drinks”. Thayer took a sip of his drink as he continued to listen to the music, which was almost done. The Band finished their set as he sees Eli walking towards the Bar. Thayer couldn’t help but feel bad. Before he left the other day he convinced Eli to do all the laundry and it seems to be a bad habit off Thayer. Convincing people to do things for him. Maybe that’s why he never had any real friends. Thayer looked at Eli again, who seems to be scouting the room a bit. But Thayer decides to make peace.
Thayer takes his drink as he walks over towards Eli, convincing himself, he won’t touch Eli’s skin directly, he’s going to try to keep their encounter real, he would really like to have one real person in his life, why not start with his roommate. Thayer takes a seat next to Eli and takes another sip of his drink and tries to start the conversation as less awkward as possible. “Hey Eli, you guys sounded really well out there”

It was casual convo. As the blond stud sat on a stool at the bar, a beer rocking up next to him and with no potential hook-up or boyfriend potential anywhere, he looked down. There was no positivity about tonight at all. But when he looked at it, he had the opportunity to get drunk and rock out anyways. Who knows, maybe beer goggles will show themselves to Eli and he will end up going home with the vomitting fool. All hope was lost. Since when did clubs go a night without having DTF material present. Not only was it non-moral but it is un-American. Modern times is flooded with the exhibiting for teenage love and hormones on TV. It is just a tease because at twenty-three, adventurous and single; things had to get better. Then to his side, a friendly face showed itself.
It was his cute yet mysterious room mate Thayer. He was a good kid, don't get him wrong, but it was a constant reminded to Eli of what he didn't want. It wasn't a judgement thing, it was just that a guy so conflicted to even be near someone was not the kind of guy Eli would want to be with. He didn't know the reason's towards Thayer's often self-isolation and it wasn't his business. But it did settle in his mind as a flowing and constant reminded. Still, it was his room mate. The one person that he would have to be happy with seeing everyday. "Thanks man. We do what we can. We were lucky because we had a first practise of that song - well - about an hour ago. Skill right?". He smirked playfully towards the guy as a sorority princess boarded on stage giving speaches and stuff. Eli rolled his eyes as he turned the stool directly to look towards Thayer.
"Nothing worse then this. Blond princesses giving it all they have got on stage. I'd rather her just flash her boobs, then I would have a good excuse just to get up and leave". He jokes, kinda. Taking a big drink from his beer he leant against the stage, arms over the edges as he tried to relax. It was now 11:22 and he had to keep playing for another two hours and a bit. Thank god he didn't have class the next day or it would be conclusive to the fact that he would be sleeping through school - - just like high school. "So what are you doing here you down-right crazy party animal?"

Thayer takes a sip of his drink as he smiles at Eli, assuming it’s the right thing to do in this situation. A smile to at least show he is friendly and not a complete social outcast like many thought he was. He couldn’t help but notice how confident Eli was. Thayer usually needed his powers to feel confident, because though his charm, it’s all in his powers. “I heard around campus around this place. So I decided to check it out. But right now, I must admit I’m glad I came.” Thayer smirked a bit as he takes another sip of his drink.
Thayer had a love hate relationship for beautiful things. Especially when it came to beautiful Humans. He’s sucked the life out of some really beautiful girls and some really good looking guys simply because their good looks intimidated them. So if something what he thought was beautiful it was either his or it was eliminated for good. But Eli doesn’t seem like the type he would like to eliminate. Well not now at least. Maybe if he got to know him better. There should be a flaw somewhere there. he tried to turn his focus back at the blond girl on stage speaking. “Well let’s hope she doesn’t flash her boobs, though I wouldn’t mind, I’d lose the best company I had all night.” Thayer couldn’t help but laugh as he takes a sip of his drink again.
Thayer gave Eli a little glance from up go down the slight second he got when Eli looked away. Thayer couldn’t really find a flaw with this guy, but then again, this was the only person he was sort of friends with and Thayer hasn’t had one of those since Harmony, that was four years ago. SO maybe he could fight his temptation of sucking this guy completely dry because his vain ways. “What about you? Aside from playing tonight, you obviously looked like you were looking for someone. It’s just a wild guess though”. Thayer smiled a bit, trying not to make it seem like he was stalking him before approaching him.

The little priss stood on stage, and when the tears came, Eli looked away. It was a bit cute, he had to say. It was like a sorority birthday or something and she was thankful. But still, he hated that sappy bullshit. Not that he would reveal it out loud, even though it did touch him a bit. He looked back up to her, the tears that ran down her cheeks and smudges of miscara trailed down. Oh god, he needed more beer. When applause rang for her to finish, he turned and took a big mouthful, lowering the drink again. "Well Thay, don't let that happen again". He smirked towards his roomie before glancing to see the girl getting dragged off stage by a bunch of girls tabbing her face with tissues. Talk about sisterhood.
It was then that he adjusted the stool by shuffeling it towards Thayer so he could really engage in conversation. He had found another way to enjoy the night, to try and break through the many walls that Thayer has. He wasn't sure what his deal was. He knew that the kid didn't know his parents. He knew that he didn't really have anyone in the city. It was sad, but he would much rather having Thayer open up. This wasn't an evil assholic way to get his jollies off, but he kind of wanted to help him. But call him crazy, but it seemed like Thayer may have been trying to do the same thing to him. Trying to get an indepth look into who Eli Diastone really was. And god, it's something you really don't want to miss.
Now, it is always a problem to not sound like a sleeze. Because he hated sleezy people, but it is human nature to 'want someone'. Even little Thayer here. He smiled, hesitating for a second before continuing. It was kind of embarrasing in a way, but this guy was probably going to be living with him for a while. Might as well let him have it. "Aren't we all looking for someone. Was kind of seeing, I don't know, if I could - connect with anyone? You know what I'm saying?". It was kind of true. Love wasn't easy to find anymore. It was hard and painful and time consuming. And the pure truth just made him feel rediculous. "Well that's the most cheesiest shit I have said all night. What about you then Gazza? Anyone special in your life that you haven't told me?". Taking a sip, he leant against the bar and looked towards him. He is definitely bi.

Thayer felt Eli wanted to get to know him better and be his friend. Thayer really tried to stay calm. Be himself, or well how he used to be when he was younger. Seeing Ms. Blondie getting dragged of the stage reminded him of his mother. Brought back memories. Good ones, made him feel more comfortable and at ease. “Well Eli, I’d say I won’t let it happen again, but don’t like making promises I can’t keep” What was he doing, he thought to himself. Was he really trying too hard, coming off too strong. Maybe he went a bit too far. But Eli seemed interested to getting to know him. He was feeling comfortable; he couldn’t help himself he guessed. Spur of the moment kind of thing.
Thayer took another sip of his drink. He couldn’t believe Eli said that, “Aren’t we all looking for someone?”, he was right. We all are looking for someone. Thayer certainly was, seemingly so was Eli, Thayer may be a bit cold at times, but he had a soft spot for someone who shared the same interest as him. Eli seemed like the same, someone looking for something, or someone to make them feel complete. Thayer could relate to Eli, he had no idea how close friends him and Eli were going to be but this was certainly a step in the right direction to finding a friend. Like his days with Harmony. Eli was really a sight. He’s been using Eli so much to do chores at home, he never really saw Eli for who he was, genuine and outgoing.
Thayer took a sip of his drink again, just enjoying the music and Eli’s company. Maybe he should tell Eli what he is looking for, why he is here, how he got here, he couldn’t tell him everything but he could tell him enough. But he was right, someone to connect, he was looking for that. “Well maybe it was the cheesiest thing you said all night, but you are right though”. Thayer smiled at Eli and signals the bartender for another drink for both him and Eli since his was done and Eli’s was near finished. “Right now, there isn’t any special in my life, guess I’m still searching myself”. The bartender brings them their drink as Thayer winks at the bartender as the bartender smiles and walks off. Thayer slides the beer near Eli “This one is on me”. Thayer then smiled again at Eli, obviously enjoying his company.
